NR2103 / Danish Arts Council / Illustrated Childrens Books from Denmark The exhibition displays a selection of Danish picture books that both illustrate the Danish picture book tradition and show the development and renaissance that the genre has seen since the 1940’s up until 2009, when the most recent works originate. Exhibition at the international Book Fair in Frankfurt 2009 and at the Danish Arts Council in Copenhagen 2010. The Danish Arts Council promotes artistic development in Denmark and Danish art abroad. The Council provides support for artistic endeavours within the fields of literature, the performing arts, the visual arts, and music. Back
