A new era of artistic collaboration

Setting the foundation for Georg Jensen’s future artistic collaborations, we partnered with them to curate and brief a series of designers with a strong connection to the brand’s artistic heritage.

Zaha Hadid × Georg Jensen

Architect Zaha Hadid designed an eight-piece collection of silver jewelry for Georg Jensen, referencing the sculptural forms and curves of her most famous buildings. Her approach, translating the organic structural logic found in nature to her designs, and reinterpreting the rich history and tradition of Georg Jensen’s design approach into something new, was a natural fit for the brand. To showcase the resulting designs, we art directed campaign imagery to leverage their architectural forms.

Marc Newson × Georg Jensen

Industrial designer Marc Newson created a limited-edition silver tea service for Georg Jensen, with only 10 editions of the five-piece set made to order in the company’s Copenhagen workshop. With his diverse experiences in industrial design, and having begun his career as a sculptor, as did Georg Jensen, Newson was able to bring a gravitas and universality to the modest and functional family of tea related objects. We helped the Georg Jensen team to direct campaign imagery, a film, and making of stills to showcase Newson’s process, that brought together craftsmanship and rapid 3D prototyping.
