We partnered with Hamish Bowles and Patrick Kinmonth Atelier to bring The Hamish Bowles Collection to life at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech—an exhibition honoring Bowles' enduring connection to Yves Saint Laurent through garments of historical significance, exquisite craftsmanship, and lived wearability.
From art direction and book design to exhibition identity and environmental graphics, our work established a unified visual language that framed the collection with clarity and cultural resonance.
Guided by inspiration, technique, and provenance, our work combined editorial precision with museum storytelling to deepen the exhibition’s cultural significance.
In close collaboration with the Bowles team, NR2154 conceived and art directed a curated selection of garments, creating a lasting archival asset that defined the book and exhibition materials.
To bring this expressive collection to life, we infused the book with interactive and tactile design elements—ranging from a YSL program insert and fold-out timeline to shifts in paper finishes and bold color treatments that echo the garments themselves.
